Today I was moving my car (every damn two hours like a bitch downtown is) and I was pulling out of my parallel spot when a car came out of the woodwork and I almost hit him. About to cuss him out, I realized it was a sheriff. And I made eye contact with him. And still eyes across the way, I slowly put on my seat belt. And realized I didn’t even have my license on me. And then he drove away smiling.
There is a god.
